What's happening?

Nottingham City Council will soon be carrying out essential planned carriageway resurfacing work on Sneinton Boulevard to ensure it remains safe for all road users.

The work will be taking place from the junction of Baden Powell Road to Lord Nelson Street and the work will begin on 30 July 2018; it is expected to take around 5 days to complete, between the hours of 8am and 4pm Monday to Friday.

How will this affect traffic?

During the work, Sneinton Boulevard will be closed to through traffic so please allow extra time for any journeys. A local diversion will be in place and access to side streets will be restricted at times, however residents will always have access to their property, albeit with some delay at times. We have planned this work over the summer when roads are quieter, and scheduled the resurfacing outside of peak hours so as to reduce the impact on traffic.
