The demolition of the old Broadmarsh car park is now complete, but it will be a little while yet until the new one is built, in the meantime – we’ve got you covered.
Park and Ride
There are 6,500 free parking spaces at the city’s nine Park & Ride sites. You only have to pay for your trip on the bus or tram, so you can zoom into the city centre without worrying about traffic.
There are thousands of on street parking spaces around the city centre, where you can park from as little as £1.
Coming into the city for the evening? Parking is free on street after 8pm until 8am the following morning.
Motorpoint Arena car park
We have converted an empty section of land behind BioCity into the Motorpoint Arena car park with space for 700 vehicles. This fantastic location is not only perfect for visiting the Arena, but early bird offers (before 9.30) are available so you can park all day for just £3.50!
The intu Victoria Centre is open as usual but a large section of their car park is currently closed for renovation. Don’t fret as the blue section of the car park is still open and can be accessed via York Street, near the bus station. Places are limited, so if you’re coming in to town later in the day you could consider alternative options…
For instance, the NCP Mount Street car park has reopened following an extensive transformation and refurbishment. Not only have the bays been widened, the stairs and ticket areas have been given a facelift and the prices have been spruced up too with a new shopper rate of £4 for five hours between 10-3 seven days a week.
There are over 8,000 places in city centre car parks. Even with the recent repair works to Mount Street Car Park and the ongoing improvement works at intu Victoria Centre Car Park, there are plenty of parking spaces in Nottingham.
Plus – we are installing charging points in more and more locations so if you drive an EV you can recharge its batteries while you recharge yours with a little retail therapy!
