Major Cadent Gas mains replacement programme

What's happening?

Cadent Gas will be undertaking a major project to replace Old Cast Gas Mains with New PE pipe. This will involve Temporary Traffic Signals, Lane Closures & Road Closures.

The programme starts on Monday 9^th January 2023 and runs until Summer 2023.

Mapperley

• The Wells Road, Mapperley – work starts 11^th January 2023 to 3rd February 2023.

There will be some carriageway incursion between house numbers 200 & 252 The Wells Road.

• Warton Avenue, Mapperley – work starts 11^th January 2023 to 3rd February 2023.

There will be some carriageway incursion at the junction of the Wells Road connection only.

Bestwood

• Torbay Crescent, Bestwood – work starts 13^th February 2023 to 2^nd March 2023.
