Installing Electric Vehicle charging points in residential and commercial developments

The Government has announced that newly built homes and offices will need to be fitted with electric vehicle (EV) charge points as part of its plans to improve air quality. Under new planning guidance local authorities will be required to encourage the installation of EV charging points as a standard requirement in new residential and commercial developments.

This free workshop is aimed at local architects, commercial surveyors, property developers and owners and considers all aspects of the design and incorporation of charging points and EV infrastructure in development schemes. Details will also be given about the availability of grant support for projects in Nottingham.
