Waterside Bridge Community Celebration – Sunday 2 June

Join us for a FREE fun day to celebrate will take place on Sunday 14 June, 10am – 4pm with plenty of great activities on the north and south sides of the bridge.

On the south side of the bridge, we’ll use the Rugby Club grounds to host sports activities, including have a go at rugby, inflatables, free face painting and more to be confirmed.

On the north side of the bridge, we’ll use the area Balfour Beatty have been using as their compound while building the bridge – there will be stalls from partner organisations as well as free face painting, crafts and colouring, LEGO bridge building competitions and more to be confirmed.

Getting there

  • Catch NCT 45 from the city centre or Carlton / Netherfield and alight on Daleside Road close to Poulton Drive
  • Catch NCT 90, 90X or 11, 11B, 11C and alight at Nottingham Rugby Ground
  • Plan a journey with NCT here

Nottingham's brand-new walking and cycling bridge will open to the public on Tuesday 2 June, with a free celebration event to follow on Sunday 14 June.
