British Cycling – FREE cycling events

Thanks to funding from the Active Travel Capability Fund, Nottingham City Council in partnership with British Cycling bring you FREE fun sessions to help you have a go at cycling and build your confidence on a bike.

Upcoming sessions

Join friendly session leaders Abbie and Graeme at a session near you.

FREE family drop-in session at Victoria Embankment, Meadows. Come along and enjoy having a go at cycling, plus advice, guidance and confidence building to help adults and children ride a bike. Meet at the children’s cycle track.

Cycling on the right path as cross-city improvement scheme is completed

A major scheme to connect safe cycling routes in the city centre with wider improvements for cyclists and pedestrians has been completed.

Exciting new walking and cycling programme

We have received funding from the Department for Transport to deliver the Travel Well programme to help widen access to walking and cycling for communities living around Aspley, Beechdale, Bilborough, Bulwell, St Ann’s and Sneinton.
