Repair works beginning on River Leen Greenway boardwalk from 20 November 2023.

Transforming Cities-funded works to repair the boardwalk along the River Leen, enabling the potential to upgrade the route further in future, will begin from 20 November and are expected to last for six weeks.

The repairs include handrail repairs, removing tree stumps and roots obstructing the current footpath and re-surfacing.

The route, part of National Cycle Route 6 will be closed during this period between Church Street and Wilkinson Street, as shown on the above plan.
