Location: Old Basford, NG6 0JW
Designed to support active and shared travel, the Percy Street mobility hub makes it easier for people in Old Basford to choose greener ways to get around. The location was selected because it’s right at the heart of the community: close to homes, schools and local shops. The site was previously under used and was seen as an opportunity to improve the public space. As well as transport facilities, the mobility hub includes a floral mural co-designed by Old Basford school pupils. The students also helped with the planting which, along with seating, has been added to improve the surrounding area.
