Planning to get your Covid jab? All the local centres are easily accessible by public transport – please remember to wear a face covering.

If you are a concessionary card holder don’t forget you can travel for free at the following times:

  • Mobility card holders: 24/7
  • Senior card holders: 9.30am-11pm Mon-Fri, and all day at weekends and bank holidays

How about an e-scooter?

E-scooters are an option for getting to either The Forest or Victoria Health Centre venues. As the trial scheme only operates in Nottingham city boundaries, unfortunately it is not possible to use an e-scooter to attend Richard Herrod Centre. Find out how to register and hire an e-scooter here.

Forest Recreation Ground

Tram – the tram has a dedicated stop at The Forest.

Alight at the stop named Forest Recreation Ground and walk through the park to the car park/tram stop.

Richard Herrod Centre

NCT buses

Richard Herrod Centre is a short walk from the Lilac 27 or Blue 39 buses.

Lilac 27 stops on Coningswath Road – alight at the Huckerby’s Field stop and walk over Huckerby’s Field to the centre. Lilac 27 is operated by double deck buses and provides greater capacity.

Blue 39 stops on Valley Road, just a short walk from the centre – alight at the stop named Foxhill Road Central.

If you are able to walk a little further, the Lilac 24, 25 and 26 also provide access to the Richard Herrod Centre. Alight at the stop named Forester Grove, and then take a short walk up Forester Grove before turning left on Foxhill Road Central.

Victoria Health Centre

Green 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 – short walk up Glasshouse Street from Victoria Centre stops.

Brown 15, 16, 17 – alight at the Victoria Centre stop outside House of Fraser and take a short walk through Victoria Centre before exiting onto Glasshouse Street.

Lilac 24, 25, 26, 27 – it’s a short walk up Glasshouse Street from the Victoria Centre stop next to George Street.

Pink 28, 30 – alight at Victoria Centre stop outside John Lewis and take a short walk through Victoria Centre before exiting onto Glasshouse Street.

Orange 35 – alight at Victoria Centre stop outside John Lewis and take a short walk through Victoria Shopping Centre before exiting onto Glasshouse Street

Blue 39, 40, 41, 42 – short walk up Glasshouse Street from Victoria Centre stop next to George Street.

Red 43, 44 – short walk up Glasshouse Street from Victoria Centre stop next to George Street.

Sky Blue 45, 46, 47 – alight at the Victoria Centre stop outside House of Fraser and take a short walk through Victoria Centre before exiting onto Glasshouse Street.

Navy 49 – short walk up Glasshouse Street from George Street stop.

Lime 56, 57, 58, 59 – alight at the Victoria Centre stop outside House of Fraser and take a short walk through Victoria Centre before exiting onto Glasshouse Street.

Yellow 68, 69, 70, 71 – alight at the Victoria Centre stop outside House of Fraser and take a short walk through Victoria Centre before exiting onto Glasshouse Street.

Turquoise 77, 78, 79 – alight at Victoria Centre stop outside Wilko and take a short walk up Glasshouse Street.

Purple 87, 88, 89 – alight at the Victoria Centre stop outside House of Fraser and take a short walk through Victoria Centre before exiting onto Glasshouse Street.

Tram

The closest tram stop is the Royal Centre, about a 15-minute walk away.
