What's happening?

From 5 June until 20 June 2023, we will be undertaking works to narrow the junction of St Ann’s Valley / St Ann’s Well Road (the one adjacent to Heron Food).

Thereafter the work will involve the removal and replacement of three existing raised crossings, which are in a poor state of repair. For each crossing we will close the road for one day on a Sunday to enable the new raised crossing to be built. A signed diversion route will be in place on these days.

St Anns Well Road Diversion plan

All other work will be undertaken using traffic management on a single running lane on the approach / exit from each crossing will be maintained to minimise disruption to road users although please expect some delays.
